Fraunhofer SCAI

Fraunhofer SCAI offers studies, order computations as well as development of software and algorithms. Our service ranges from modelling the application problem and choosing the adequate simulation tools and methods to computations on high performance computers. Analysis  completes our offer.

The MpCCI interface software is a vendor neutral solution for co-simulation and file-based data transfer. MpCCI supports a growing number of commercial as well as research simulation tools in different engineering disciplines. The MpCCI software is distributed by scapos AG

The business area ‘Multiphysics’ at Fraunhofer SCAI  conducts research, software development and application modelling on different levels:

  • further enhancements of MpCCI software and algorithms
  • development of domain specific multiphysics solutions
  • industrial engineering services and advanced R&D projects to investigate new and challenging multiphysics domains

In order to strengthen marketing and sales of their products, Fraunhofer SCAI initiated the launch of scapos AG; the Fraunhofer Society is one of the scapos shareholders.

scapos AG offers software products for optimizing and accelerating existing simulation applications, as well as solutions for multiphysics-simulation. scapos office is located at the campus of Fraunhofer's institutional center, Schloss Birlinghoven – close connections to scientists and product developers at SCAI are guaranteed.
